The research on WhatsApp scheduled messaging has shown that it can be a useful tool for users who need to manage their conversations and plan ahead. Scheduled messages can be used to remind people of important tasks, and to send out messages at specific times. The research has also shown that the feature can help users better manage their conversations.

Problem Statement
Users of a messaging platform often have the need to schedule messages to be sent at a later time or date. However, the current system does not have a built-in feature for scheduling messages, causing users to rely on external tools

A pop-up prompt is created to allow users to either go back and edit their messages, close the pop-up or proceed to schedule their message.
Success State
The success state shows the completion of the scheduled message and has options to either view the scheduled message or close the pop-up.

Starting with a deep understanding of the brand, I carefully designed each element to reflect Fonder's bold, simple, and unique identity. The development phase seamlessly translated these designs into a user-friendly website. Through collaboration and refinement, the final result exceeded expectations.
The Scheduled Message Icon
I designed this icon to give an illustration of the date and time. The color (light red) was also chosen to differentiate between the send icon (blue) and it was placed side by side to allow users easy access to this new feature.

The scheduled message icon placed beside “the filter icon” allows users access to the scheduled message section (screen). So, users will be able to view messages scheduled by them, edit messages or delete messages scheduled.
Solution
Develop a feature for the messaging platform that allows users to easily and efficiently schedule messages to be sent at a later time or date. This feature should be intuitive and user-friendly, and should help users save time and effort in managing their scheduled messages.
Design Process
My goal with this project was to design a solution for scheduled messaging that helps improve communication and coordination between users. To do this, I first conducted user research to understand the needs and challenges of the target users. Then I developed a high-level design for our scheduled messaging solution, this design includes a user-friendly interface that allows users to easily schedule messages to be sent at specific times. To evaluate and iterate on my design, I plan to conduct user testing with a small group of users. This will allow us to gather feedback on the usability and effectiveness of our solution, and to make any necessary changes to improve the design.
Overall, my goal is to create a scheduled messaging solution that is easy to use and effective in helping teams/individuals communicate and coordinate more effectively.

This will allow users easily edit and delete messages.

Users will be able to edit & reschedule messages. (i.e add documents/picture, take real-time photos/videos or add a voice note).
